Who we are
Sue Armstrong
studied veterinary medicine at Cambridge University qualifying
as a veterinary surgeon in 1984, she then went on to study
veterinary homeopathy and attained her VetMFHom qualification in
1996. Sue founded The Balanced Being Group in 2003 and has been
continually developing the equine consultancy service. She is
now a CAM consultant to some of Britain’s leading racing,
showing, dressage and eventing yards as well as to individuals
with pleasure and companion horses and ponies.
Sue is a partner of
the Homeopathic Professional Teaching Group (HPTG) which
provides training for doctors, veterinary surgeons, midwives and
nurses. She is the current Junior Vice President of the BAHVS
(British Association of Homeopathic Veterinary Surgeons). She
lectures internationally on homeopathy and laser therapy in
horses.
Sue has an excellent
team of staff at her practice IVC (Integrated Veterinary Centre,
Wetherby), who deal with all booking, accounts and client
support. Sue works alongside chiropractors, farriers, equine
dentists, physiotherapists and other equine healthcare
professionals who may be brought in to provide the best
treatment programmes for your horse and of course as a referral
consultant Sue liaises with your own veterinary surgeon as
required.
